DWR Economics staff routinely work with many programs within DWR
(for example, the Division of Planning and Local Assistance,
the Office of Water Use Efficiency, the Division of Flood Management)
as well as with other federal, state and local agencies.
Typical tasks include economic feasibility analyses for SWP and other statewide water
management programs, supply and demand analyses for the CA Water Plan Updates, and the
review of economic analyses prepared by local agencies applying for funding through the
many loans and grants programs administered by DWR.
